The Tiffen Black Satin filters offer a unique combination of two effects in one. Not only do they reduce multiple surfaces and potential reflection from stacked filters, but they also smooth out unwanted blemishes and wrinkles. This results in a silky smooth look on textured surfaces and a softer appearance on details, along with a mild glow on highlights. The effect is more subtle with lighter grades, gradually becoming more noticeable with higher grades. These filters are made from water white glass and are available in sizes of ½, 1, 2, and 3.
