Wooden Camera Easy Top

OVERVIEW
The Wooden Camera Easy Top is the perfect accessory for your RED DSMC2 Brains (Monstro, Helium, Gemini), Weapon, Epic Weapon (Epic-W), Scarlet Weapon (Scarlet-W), Raven, and other DSMC2 cameras. This top plate, with the part number 213900, is designed to provide a sturdy and versatile attachment point for various accessories, making it an essential rig component for any filmmaker.

The top plate features an array of 1/4-20 holes in Red spacing, as well as 3/8-16 holes for larger accessories, allowing you to easily attach and customize your camera setup according to your needs. Additionally, the ARRI standard accessory mount is strategically placed in multiple locations, providing even more options for accessory placement.

Attaching the Easy Top to your camera is a breeze, thanks to the (4) 1/4-20 captured screws that securely hold it in place. This ensures that your camera and accessories stay firmly attached, even during the most demanding shoots.

One of the standout features of the Easy Top is its two LCD/EVF interfaces. The first one is located under the front portion of the top plate, while the second one is tethered to the side attachment. These interfaces convert the LCD/EVF pogo pins to the standard 16pin LEMOs, which are commonly found on the right side of the top plate. What’s more, the LEMOs are specially manufactured to allow users to select the orientation in increments of 45 degrees, providing even more flexibility in your setup.

Lastly, the Easy Top comes with a third interface located underneath the center of the top plate. This interface communicates with the start/stop trigger on top of the camera, allowing you to easily start and stop recording without having to fumble with the camera controls. The board inside the top plate converts the non-standard interface to an ARRI standard 3pin Fischer, making it compatible with any ARRI standard trigger. Plus, no power trigger is required, simplifying your setup even further.

Arrays of 1/4-20 holes in Red spacing, 3/8-16 holes for large accessories, and the ARRI standard accessory mount in several places. Attaches to top of camera by (4) 1/4-20 captured screws.

Two LCD/EVF interfaces are included. One is located under the front portion of the top plate and one is included via the tethered side attachment. Both convert the LCD/EVF pogo pins to the standard 16pin LEMOs which are found on the right side of the top plate. These LEMOs are specially manufactured to allow users to select the orientation in increments of 45 degrees.

A third interface is located underneath the center of the top plate and communicates with the start/stop trigger on top of the camera. A board inside the top plate converts the non standard interface to an ARRI standard 3pin Fischer. Any ARRI standard trigger can be used with the camera and no power trigger is required.
