Overview
The K-Tek Essential Boompole is a 9-foot long, 5-section boompole that is perfect for audio recording on set. It has a compact collapsed size of 29.5 inches (74.9 cm) and is lightweight at only 1.2 lbs (544 g). The top attachment features a 3/8″ – 16 male thread, making it compatible with a variety of microphones.
This boompole is made in the USA using a lightweight, hand-polished proprietary composite material. It also conveniently fits inside a Peli-Case 1650 or 1637, as well as medium-sized luggage, making it easy to travel with. The anodized, knurled surface collars provide a secure grip and smooth opening and closing of each section, making it effortless to use on set.

The KC108 Essential Boompole collapses to a compact 29.5″, and extends to 9′ (74.9cm – 2.75m). Made of a proprietary composite material, the KC108 Essential Boompole weighs only 1.2 lbs (544 g). The top attachment is a 3/8″ – 16 male thread.
The KC108’s collapsed size conveniently fits in a standard 1650 and 1637 Peli-Case, or a medium-sized luggage for easy travel.
The anodized, knurled surface collars provides a firm grip and smooth feel when opening and closing each collar. The finish of the tubes allows for the sections to glide open and closed effortlessly.
